The directors of Rejoice! diaspora dance theater and Bang Bang Boogie and Axé Didé will launch platform for independent choreographers to present works with the intention to push boundaries of any dance form. In an effort to bring people together we encourage a diversity of art forms, artists that approach traditions in a contemporary way or including interdisciplinary aspects. Artists will be supported with an artist stipend, feedback showings, and curation of two performances at Center Space Studio.

The theme for the first Platform is "Resistance."
